The selection process involves 50 professional automotive journalists from the United States and Canada voting confidentially to determine the winners.
Jurors began the evaluation process early in 2024, narrowing down dozens of new vehicles to semifinalists announced at the September inaugural “Cars at the Station” event. Nine finalists were revealed at the Los Angeles Auto Show in November, culminating in today’s announcement of the top three vehicles.
