King Charles allegedly has plans to keep and Princess Eugenie semi in the fold over 10 years after an incident which caused one of them to be branded a “laughing stock”.
Writing in the Daily Mail, royal commentator Ephraim Hardcastle claimed that the , 76, was “keen” to keep both Eugenie, 34, and Beatrice, 36, close with the intention of “deploying them” at events such as receptions and garden parties.
Mr Hardcastle claim this change of tactic by the monarch comes over 10 years after the pair attended a trade event in Berlin in 2013, during which Beatrice drove through a red light whilst driving a Mini adorned with the Union Jack.
Following the error, one official allegedly commented: “This is making us a laughing stock… Better if they b****r off and marry millionaires.”

Royal commentator Jennie Bond told that she believed the duo would watch the show. She explained: “I very much doubt they [senior members of the Royal Family wil] watch her show – though Eugenie and Beatrice might tune in.”

According to reports, the two sisters have remained relatively close to the Sussexes despite their move to the other side of the world with Eugenie reportedly “thrilled” at Harry’s reported property purchase in Europe.
A source told Bella magazine: “Eugenie is immensely fond of Harry and Meghan, as is Jack. They’ve always been incredibly close and it’s extremely heartening to them that a wider (peace for the Sussexes) with the royals is finally in sight.”
Another source claimed the Portugal purchase was a way for Harry to keep some form of ties to senior members of the Royal Family.
