The “Good as Hell” singer, 36, who embarked on a weight-loss journey in recent years, shared a video of herself Jan. 7 on Instagram that showed her posing in a black bikini as she performed massage movements on her body to inspire lymphatic flow.

“I’m proud of the ways you’re deciding to show up for yourself. I’m proud of the boundaries you’ve set. Amazing things will happen to you today. Now say that 3 times out loud,” Lizzo told fans in her caption.

The musician’s followers celebrated her in the comments of her post.

“Yaaasss girl!! Proud of you!! That hard work is showing up!!” wrote one.

“You look Amazing” gushed another.

Lizzo opened up to told The New York Times in March 2024 about how she’s made it a priority to get into shape both physically and mentally.

“I’ve been methodical, losing weight very slowly,” she told the publication.

In fact, the Grammy winner revealed that her weight loss had been so slow and steady, her fans had noticed the changes in her body more than she had.

“I don’t really see it because if anyone who’s on a natural weight-loss journey knows, losing weight is actually the slowest thing in the world and you don’t really notice it until you notice it,” she said. “Also the scale’s not really moving. But anyway, that doesn’t matter. I’m super proud of my current lifestyle.”

The singer has credited diet changes and exercise, including weight training and Pilates, for her fit new look. But the longtime body-positivity activist has made it clear that her focus on fitness doesn’t mean she’s trying to “escape fatness.”

“I’m not trying to be thin. I don’t ever want to be thin,” Lizzo said in a May 2024 TikTok video. “Will my body fluctuate from this size? Will I get a little smaller depending on some of the choices I make or a little bigger, depending on some of the choices I make in my life? Yes, I’m used to fluctuating.”

“However, the goal is always here,” she said, tapping her head.

The singer went on to say that exercise had helped her to “shift” her mind as well as her body.
