Whilst it may be tempting for drivers to delay getting their car serviced to a later date when they have more money, doing so can lead to devastating consequences.

In most cases, vehicles need a full service every 12 months or 12,000 miles, when various fluids and filters are replaced and other perishable components are checked to see if they need to be replaced.

Without getting a car serviced in time, drivers run the risk of small problems developing into significant issues that cost a fortune to put right.

Regularly checking components such as fluid levels, tyre pressures, and electronic components can also help drivers avoid serious issues in the future.
