Marcus Rashford is nearing a Man Utd exit.
AC Milan have emerged as the frontrunners to complete a deal to sign forward this month, according to reports. Rashford’s representatives are actively in talks over a potential San Siro switch, and former Red Devils favourite is said to be powering negotiations.
The 27-year-old is now widely expected to leave Old Trafford in the coming weeks after falling out of favour under .
Borussia Dortmund and Juventus have also been credited with an interest, while he also reportedly has suitors.
But Milan appears increasingly likely to be Rashford’s next destination as he looks to restart his career away from the bright lights of his boyhood club.
According to , United are aware that Rashford’s brother, his leading representative, is in Italy to discuss a move.
An initial loan is the most probable deal, with the M16 giants said to be keen on boosting the attacker’s stock before a permanent transfer in the summer.
add that United are willing to contribute towards a chunk of Rashford’s £325,000-a-week salary if he departs on loan before the January deadline.
It’s claimed the club are desperate to offload their No. 10, who is allegedly working with a major UK-based agency to orchestrate an Old Trafford escape.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic is involved in Marcus Rashford’s move.

The report adds that Ibrahimovic, acting as a senior adviser to Milan, is playing a central role in Rashford’s potential Serie A arrival.
Ibrahimovic made 53 appearances for United after Jose Mourinho lured him to Manchester on a free transfer in 2016.
He quickly became a hero on the Old Trafford terraces by registering 28 goals and 10 assists in 46 games in his debut season.
Only seven outings followed in the 2017/18 season due to injury issues before he crossed the Atlantic and took the MLS by storm at LA Galaxy.
Ibrahimovic and Rashford were team-mates throughout the memorable 2016/17 campaign, and the iconic Swede may be using that relationship to Milan’s advantage in the race for his signature.
Rashford has scored seven goals in 24 games this season, just one less goal than last term’s measly tally, but his attitude and application haven’t convinced Amorim since replacing as boss.
Amorim has excluded the England international from five of his last six squads – and he was an unused substitute in last week’s 2-0 defeat against United.
Milan represents an ideal opportunity to get his career back on track and boost United’s finances with a homegrown sale.
