Coronation Street will not air on Friday
Fans of Coronation Street and Emmerdale can expect another scheduling shake-up on ITV this week. On Friday, January 10, Aston Villa and West Ham’s FA Cup match will air, prompting to be broadcast at 7 pm, while will be shown at 9 pm on Thursday, January 9, instead.
The episode summary states: “Bobby visits Rob to persuade him to donate a kidney to Carla, Dev proposes to Bernie again and David continues to distrust Shona. Elsewhere, Abi accuses Toyah of abducting Alfie, and Evelyn bids farewell to friends as she departs for university.”
Meanwhile, the synopsis for Friday reads: “Negativity surfaces, boundaries are crossed and Rhona is at breaking point.” This week, will feature the highly anticipated return of Rob Donovan, played by Marc Baylis. Currently serving a life sentence for the murder of Tina McIntyre, Rob will receive a visit from his son Bobby Crawford.
Carla Connor, played by Alison King, is dealing with severe kidney damage and will require a transplant. Her brother Ryan Connor, played by Ryan Prescott, and son Bobby are shocked by the news, reports Lancs Live.
