Emmerdale and Coronation Street in major ITV schedule shake-up this week

Fans of Coronation Street and Emmerdale can expect another scheduling shake-up on ITV this week. On Friday, January 10, Aston Villa and West Ham’s FA Cup match will air, prompting to be broadcast at 7 pm, while will be shown at 9 pm on Thursday, January 9, instead.

Currently serving a life sentence for the murder of Tina McIntyre, Rob will receive a visit from his son Bobby Crawford.

Carla Connor, played by Alison King, is dealing with severe kidney damage and will require a transplant. Her brother Ryan Connor, played by Ryan Prescott, and son Bobby are shocked by the news, reports Lancs Live.

Ryan offers to donate a kidney if he is a match, but Carla refuses and worries about Bobby’s whereabouts.

As Bobby steps out of a taxi and walks through the gates of Highfield Prison, he makes his way to the visiting area, where he’s met by Rob.

Bobby’s request leaves Rob stunned: he wants him to donate a kidney to Carla. Rob’s reaction is yet to be seen.

Recently, ‘s new executive producer, Kate Brooks, hinted at Rob’s return to the show, suggesting he may have turned over a new leaf during his time behind bars: “We last left Rob languishing in prison.
