Princess Lilibet is in her ‘princess phase’ according to Meghan Markle’s pal
‘s daughter, , is going through her “princess phase”, one of the duchess’s pals has claimed.
US Chef Adrian Lipscombe made the revelation on social media on Sunday, after she rushed to defend the Duchess of Sussex following criticism over her new yet unreleased show on .
Meghan welcomed the New Year with a bang after she launched her official page and made two new posts, which included – set to be released on January 15 on .
In the trailer, Meghan is joined by various guests and friends. She can be seen making food in the kitchen, looking at flowers and picking produce in the garden.
Following the trailer’s release and ahead of the show’s premiere, food publication Eater published an article by Amy McCarthy, which was titled “I’m Already Bored by ’s New Cooking Series” and which criticised Meghan’s attempt to promote a “relatable” lifestyle – 10 years after she shut down her previous blog, The Tig.

Lipscombe posted a screenshot of the story and tagged the publication, asking: “How are you going to criticise someone or judge a TV show before it has even aired?”
She added: “I get it— – sensationalism gets clicks, but shame on you. I’m really trying to be nicer in 2025, but this? This isn’t it.”
In her post, the chef praised “gracious, engaged, and kind” Meghan and described her and as “some of the most down-to-earth people I’ve ever met”.
She also revealed how during one of her chats with the duchess, the two women spoke about food, their families and how both their daughters are “in their princess phase”.
The chef wrote: “I’ve had the pleasure of meeting @meghan over food, and let me tell you, she and her well-known significant other are some of the most down-to-earth people I’ve ever met.

“We talked about our families (mostly about our daughters being in their princess phase and the movies they love) and, of course, about food.
“She didn’t rush the conversation, even though I was taking up her time. She was gracious, engaged, and kind.”
She added: “The food world deserves better. Meghan deserves better. And frankly, we all do.”
