“This thing is AWESOME! I’ve been making English muffin sandwiches and they are perfectly cooked. The egg is fluffy, I’ve had no issues with anything spilling, and 4.5 minutes seems to be the sweet spot for me. This is definitely a game changer for our sammies! “We’ve enjoyed making breakfast sandwhiches in this machine. We’ve used english muffins with bacon or steak or precooked sausage, cheese & eggs. Next will be minibagels or croissants. The timer is key – apparently stores other than Target don’t sell the units with a timer.” — Andrea S
“I came across this in some “great gifts you need for the holidays” article, which I’d normally ignore. But…I figured I’d take a chance and buy this gadget since it had the potential to help my kids eat something decent before they leave for school. Everyone in my house loves this! It’s fantastic. So easy to use and clean, convenient and obviously very versatile since you can put such a variety of stuff in it. I was worried because some reviews indicated that the egg leaked out. Well, it will if you don’t follow the directions and let it heat up first. You have to let the green Preheat light come on to let you know it’s ready before putting in your food. The heat on the “plate” immediately starts to cook the egg, which helps it form a seal around the ring. Without that heat, the raw egg will find any little gap to leak out of and you’ll have a small mess on the countertop. So, just follow the directions. This is probably the appliance that gets the most use of any in my whole house, including my coffee pot and the microwave, which we use daily. It’s not just a breakfast tool, of course…I made dinner for a whole group of Dungeons and Dragons-playing high schoolers. It’s great!!” — Bonnie
