Adapted from Stephen King’s best-selling novel, the supernatural thriller garnered critical acclaim and became a box office phenomenon. The movie shattered numerous box office records, amassing over $701 million worldwide and clinching its position as the third highest-grossing R-rated film.

The plot centres on a band of seven outcasts, dubbed The Losers’ Club, who are tormented by the horrifying entity, Pennywise, compelling them to confront their deepest fears.

The overwhelming success of the first chapter paved the way for a sequel, It Chapter Two, which was released in 2019. Despite eliciting mixed reviews, the sequel still proved to be a box office triumph, raking in $473.1 million globally against a production budget of $79 million.

Welcome To Derry will be available to watch on HBO in 2025.
