Playful Louis, six, was asked to pitch in during the Royal Family’s traditional gathering at St Mary Magdalene Church near Sandringham.

Reverend Canon Dr Paul Rhys Williams included the sweet treat in his sermon and asked the congregation if anyone knew how best to separate the segments.

According to The Sun, he said you have to tap it and unwrap it. listening to the service via speakers, then heard him tell Prince Louis, “Just drop it.”

They heard a loud bang as the chocolate slammed onto the floor.

When the clergyman asked if any children inside St Mary Magdalene had received any sweets for Christmas, Louis could be heard calling out: “Marshmallows.”

Louis could be seen holding a chocolate orange and Cadbury’s Selection Box during a walkabout after the church service.

He joined parents and , along with siblings , 11, and , nine, for the occasion.

The younger Waleses drew praise from the adoring crowds, with after sharing a selfie with her.

Charlotte said thank you before returning to her father’s side.
