It’s no surprise then that many households end up with enough leftovers to last at least until Boxing Day.

And while a cold buffet or sandwiches are perfectly good ways to use up leftover food, there’s a festive taking by storm that many foodies are looking to try this week.

She posted the video earlier this year, captioning it: “I know its early but I don’t care there’s no way I’m waiting for these,” complete with an adoring heart eyes emoji.

Showcasing mouthwatering layers, the video tantalises viewers as it depicts succulent roast chicken pieces heaped upon a bed of fluffy chips, mixed together with hearty stuffing, then topped with pigs in blankets.

The video creator then covered the dish with a rich, thick gravy, reports .

The culinary creation impressed users, with many promising to whip up their own versions of the indulgent dish.

One TikToker commented: “This looks like heaven,” while another wrote: “Love this idea.”

Meanwhile others shared some tips to make it even more festive as one person suggested: “I would add sprouts, carrots and parsnips to that. Also cranberry sauce,” and a second said: “It would be amazing served in a giant Yorkshire pudding.”

Some are so enraptured by the innovation that they’re sidelining the traditional roast in favor of this “no fuss” wonder, while some called it the “perfect Boxing Day meal”.

And one commenter said: “So rogue but so good.”
