Some Christmas markets will still be open in January
Christmas markets are a well-loved tradition across Europe and the UK in which regular roads are transformed into a winter wonderland.
Patrons will have finished up the Christmas shopping in the last few days, even leaving town to spend Christmas with their families.
Though many markets have closed up shop this week, however, there are a handful keeping the doors open until January.
You can extend your festivities just that bit longer and drink some mulled wine or sample some cheeses even after returning to work.
These markets may also have the benefit of being a bit less busy after Christmas, so without further ado, here are some UK Christmas markets that remain open until January.
