Prince Harry’s former friend has issued a brutal dig at the Duke over his new show.
The five-part show, that’s part of the and -produced docuseries are now streaming on the major streaming service.
The series takes a closer look into the world of Polo which premiered on December 10, 2024.
described the couple’s docuseries as being “a new documentary series that follows elite global players and offers an exclusive, behind-the-scenes look at the fast-paced world of the sport”.
But lifting the lid into this exclusive world of polo has seen the series mauled by critics with old chum even piping up with his scathing verdict.
Tommy Severn, the captain of Polo England, has played with both and and has given his two word dig regarding the Duke and his latest series.

Severn and spent a gap year together alongside Severn’s family in Argentina on their ranch and was reportedly close with the family at that time.
But Severn has recently nuked the Duke’s series on polo, calling it “very weird”.
The scathing remarks towards Harry continued with the polo player stating that the Duke “can’t come back to England now” as a return would make him “look like an idiot”.
In the series, “fierce rivalries” and “intense training” are featured in the show and includes extensive coverage of players including Timmy Dutta – a young athlete who is backed by his father’s US team.

Alongside Severn’s comments about the show the young polo players were also baffled as to why the Duke barely appeared in the series, adding: “it seemed to be more about Timmy and Tim Dutta than the Prince, who doesn’t appear until near the end.”
When asked why may have chosen to not include his formative years in polo in the series including his time with Severn and his family, he replied: “‘I’ve no idea!”
“I think Harry’s cut ties so if he came back now, he’d look like an idiot,” he added.
Severn is not alone in his less-than-flattering comments regarding the polo as many other critics and viewers have panned and ‘s show.
Royal commentator, Josh Rom, dubbed the series “ridiculous” for showcasing an “elitist sport” with The Guardian’s, Stuart Heritage, giving the series two stars, calling it “boring” and “destined to fall into obscurity”.
and have stepped back from royal duties since 2020 and signed a £80 million deal, which will expire in 2025.
The couple’s new polo series is part of their own Archewell Productions which is in partnership with Boardwalk Pictures.
Their latest polo show was shot primarily at the US Open Polo Championship in Wellington, Florida during The USPA National Polo Center.
