As a commerce editor my job involves being ontop of the latest deals and as a host of brands start to prep for the upcoming Boxing Day and January sales but it was my own mum who beat me to the front of the newest winter sale queue. As she raced to the website to pick out a few new pieces.
As someone who’s still convinced she ‘doesn’t have that many clothes’ my mum went straight to look at Roman’s newest winter sale. The site has launched as much as plus all delivery has been reduced to 99p.
As New Year’s Eve party season fast approaches many of the items being snapped up are sparkly dresses – like this which is 40% off at £36 – but my mum’s gone for the everyday staples she can wear more than once including cosy knits,

Ready for the temperature drop in January this was the first in her basket – and is pretty in keeping other pieces she already has from and Now dropped down to £32 in the sale it’s a much cheaper option and one she’ll pair with her staple and jeans.

Calling it a ‘lovely jumpsuit’ one person said: “This is such a lovely flattering jumpsuit. The material feels very good quality and it looks lovely on. Its easy to take down (if you need the loo!).”
While another shopper loved the style of it, they did say how it wasn’t the best fitting “This was too short on me with the legs flapping around the top of my ankles. I’m 5ft 7. Loved the fit and it’s a really flattering shape & fit with the ruched mid section, just too short so sadly had to return. If you’re 5ft 5 or shorter should be fine.”
