*Tip from a professional cleaner* Magic erasers are a fantastic way to remove stains off your toilet seat ????????????

They wrote: “Magic Erasers are a fantastic way to remove stains off your toilet seat.” Those who viewed the hack have since praised the ingenious tip as it seems to work like a charm.

Despite some sharing they used a Magic Eraser for most household cleaning chores, they say it never occured to them that it would make for a perfect toilet cleaner. One user wrote: “I do everything with Magic Eraser sponge, why I haven’t thought of doing the toilet seat also, thank you!!”

Another wrote: “This is actually so helpful. My kids have stained one of our toilets and nothing gets it off, not even bleach. I never thought to use a magic eraser.”

Others urged those using the magic eraser to make sure they had more than one handy as there did not seem to be a way of disinfecting it once it had been used on the toilet.

Don’t miss…

One asked: “But now how do you disinfect the Magic Eraser?” The “environmentally conscious” user did not want to rebuy items, while another suggested the eraser may leave some marks and damage over time.

They wrote: “Takes off the sealant and makes the plastic porous and worse over time.” While the “abrasive” magic erasers may cause a bit of damage over time, their effectiveness cannot be doubted as it was shown to clean the toilet bowl exceptionally well.

Another user has suggested cleaning your seat “every day” to prevent the stains from appearing at all.

You can purcase Magic erasers from Flash at most supermarkets, including for around £3 for two at Sainsbury’s.
