Acting legend has worried fans after co-presenting an episode of Saturday Night Live, over in the States. The man behind the voice of showed a worrying symptom with many fans pointing it out in fresh concerns for his health.
The 68-year-old supported host Martin Short as they welcomed a number of guest stars, including Scarlett Johansson, Paul Rudd, and John Mulaney. But as Tom took on the hosting duties, fans spotted that his hands appeared to be “trembling”.
Taking to social media, posting on , one fan quizzed: “Is Tom Hanks’ hand shaking?” Another user joined the thread to add: “I also noticed it!!! And now I am concerned.”
Someone else pointed out that they noticed the same thing in another recent TV appearance, writing: “He was on The Graham Norton show a while back and I noticed it there too…”
Over on Twitter/X, one more fan noted: “Tom Hanks is looking so old did anyone else clock his hands shaking. I’ll cry.” With one more adding: “I noticed that Tom Hanks hands shake a little bit.”

But one fan hit back, as they said: “Considering he’s almost 70! Yeah older people hands tends to shake a little.”
It’s not the first time fans have expressed worry over the leading man’s shaky hands. Back in 2022, as he promoted Baz Luhrmann’s Elvis movie, viewers spotted the same issue as he appeared to be shaking while holding a microphone.
Hanks tried to control the shaking by placing his left hand at the bottom of the microphone, below his right. He also briefly switched hands.

He and his wife, Rita Wilson, had been hit by the pandemic virus after they were struck down with it in March of that year. Appearing virtually on The Late Show, Tom explained that he experienced “very different” symptoms to his wife despite the pair both testing positive.
The star said: “We had no idea how it could have happened, where it could have happened.” He added: “Every time I moved around I felt like something was cracking inside me.”
He added that he also experienced “bone-crushing fatigue”. The father-of-four said he “had some body aches and was very fatigued”.
