A star has shared that she is going it alone for the next couple of days as her co-star takes a break. Bev Turner announced that she will be presenting without anyone else as Andrew Pierce takes a ” break”.
The duo normally present Britain’s Newsroom on every weekday from 9.30am till noon. However, Bev took to social media as she shared that she will be “solo”.
In the update, the presenter penned: “I’m hosting #britainsnewsroom solo for the next two days whilst Andrew starts his #xmas holidays. There will be lots of familiar faces and all the big stories.
“But if there is ever a moment to give attention to our #farmers it is this time of the year! So I’ll be chatting to a few. Join me at 9.30 am. Only on @GBNEWS.”
However, fans of the news channel didn’t seem too put out by Andrew’s absence. One commented on the post, saying: “The world doesn’t stop for xmas ffs. Well done to you for carrying on.”

Another added: “Great – just like the old days!” With a third saying: “I’ll be watching. Have a great show. Glass of wine perhaps.”
The presenter shake up is one of many happening on GB News lately. The broadcasters recently announced that a number of hosts had been axed with others having their hours cut.
Isabel Webster, Mark Dolan and Jacob Rees-Mogg were among those impacted by the station’s changes.
A GB News spokesperson said on Wednesday: “Ellie Costello will now co-host GBN Breakfast five days a week, presenting alongside Eamonn Holmes on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and with Stephen Dixon on Thursday and Friday.

“Stephen and Anne Diamond will continue to co-present GB News Breakfast at Weekends.”
The news comes amid a huge shake-up at the channel which has also seen Mark Dolan
The Friday Night Live presenter tweeted on Wednesday evening: “STATEMENT. GB News have made the decision to permanently relieve me of my duties at the channel. I will speak publicly about this in due course.”
He later went on to share a tell-all YouTube video confirming that he had been sacked.
