Actress Rosalind Eleazar is perhaps best known for her role as Louisa Guy in , but she is now set to star in a new series, .
In the Harlan Coben thriller, Eleazar will portray the lead role of Detective Kat Donovan. This represents a departure from her part as a British MI5 agent in Slow Horses, allowing her to showcase her versatility as an actress.
Eleazar discussed her experience in taking on this new role in an interview with Reach and other media outlets. She expressed her enthusiasm for fans of Slow Horses to see her in a different character, stating: “Yeah, I am [excited]. They are such different shows, and I really do hope that the Slow Horses fans will watch this show. I think they will.”
Furthermore, Eleazar noted that many fans of Slow Horses were drawn to the show due to their fondness for the books, and she anticipates a similar response to Coben’s Missing You.
“Both Slow Horses and Missing You have come from brilliant source material,” she remarked.

“You know, these books are really good, and a lot of people who came to Slow Horses [found it] because they already loved the books, and it’s the same with Harlan Coben. So, yeah, I’m excited,” she added.
The synopsis for Missing You reveals: “Missing You is a limited drama series about Detective Kat Donovan (Rosalind Eleazar), whose life is rocked when her fiance Josh (Ashley Walters), who disappeared eleven years ago, suddenly resurfaces in strange circumstances.
“While Kat investigates the case of a missing person, Josh’s reappearance forces her to dive back into the mystery surrounding her father’s (Sir Lenny Henry) murder and uncover long-buried secrets from her past.”
