Mark Dolan was axed from GB News last week.
Axed star Mark Dolan has offered an olive branch to his former co-star following his brutal sacking last week. Mark was on Wednesday following three years at the channel.
Mark and Dan have had bad blood since the former replaced the latter after his axe last year. Dan was dropped in September 2023 after offensive comments made by Laurence Fox went unchallenged on his show.
On Sunday, Mark appeared to try and end their feud by suggesting they should join forces.
He tweeted: “Should I MAKE UP with and form an UNSTOPPABLE MEDIA FORCE?”
However, Dan doesn’t seem to have taken kindly to the suggestion, as he reposted a series of tweets criticising Mark.

Mark Dolan offered an olive branch to Dan Wootton.
Calvin Robinson – who was also suspended from GB News after sharing support for Dan – wrote to Mark: “You should apologise to him for a start. The timing is not great – after being axed yourself – but better late than never.
“Dan is a gracious fellow, I am sure he would forgive you. I would not expect to jump on his media bandwagon if I were you, though. Build your own first.”
Another user echoed: “Did you reach out to @danwootton after his sacking, either publicly or privately? If you didn’t do either, then this very suggestion speaks of desperation, and isn’t a good look.
“@danwootton deserved better from @GBNews, his friends, and his colleagues. Through his own hard work, and a loyal team of supporters who stood by him, Dan’s channel Outspoken is rapidly growing into a formidable force with which to be reckoned.
“With luck, perhaps you have enough supporters who might help you to do the same.”

on Friday, Mark thanked Dan despite the latter calling him a “b***h” in a previous video.
Mark said Dan was responsible for getting him on GB News in the first place, adding that it is “awful how things worked out”.
He said of replacing the star: “Dan’s absence and ultimately departure was of course not my decision and beyond my control. He was a huge loss to the channel and, in my view, has not been replaced.”
on his Outspoken YouTube channel on Thursday. He said: “I’m not someone that likes to dance on someone else’s grave… but it’s only fair of me to present both sides of the picture and people are saying that this is what happens when you give in to management and you become their b***h and you are prepared to throw your colleagues under the bus…
“One of the things people have raised of being problematic about Mark Dolan is whether he actually believed or was passionate about the things he was talking about on GB News…Some have suggested that maybe Mark was putting on what he thought he had to say to be on GB News.
“It is a horrible thing to happen to someone a week before Christmas… and as I say this is someone who had been a b***h for the channel and done anything he was told to do, even if it was throwing his colleagues under the bus.”
