Magic £1.50 item removed burn marks and transformed my cooker

If you are like me, you will have been deep cleaning your house before Christmas.

While some may feel that is unnecessary pressure, I like to think of it as a deadline. And one of the tasks on my to do list was the stove top.

My cooker has had a couple of burn marks that just would not shift with my normal cleaner and antibacterial spray.

So when I had a spare 20 minutes, I broke out the “the miracle cleaning paste” and I was so happy I did.

Firstly, I wiped down the stovetop as usual, removing any food debris, and there was a coffee spill from the percolator. Then, I got out the and applied it generously to the stubborn marks.

I let it sit for a few minutes – probably only two minutes because I am impatient – then used a normal dish sponge to rub it in.

I used the scouring side and a little elbow grease to try to lift the stains, and to my surprise, it started to work.

It took me about seven minutes to scrub off the burn marks, and wiping away the cleaning product was so satisfying when I saw the gleaming cooker underneath.

I was so impressed with how easy it was I thought to myself why I hadn’t thought about trying out sooner.
