Sky Bad Tidings: Chris McCausland and Lee Mack star in new Christmas film

A new festive film featuring Strictly Come Dancing champion Chris McCausland is set to premiere on Sky. The movie, titled Bad Timings, revolves around two feuding neighbours, Scott () and Neil (Lee Mack), who constantly bicker over Christmas lights, bins, and Scott’s appointment as the head of the Neighbourhood Watch.

However, when their suburb descends into darkness, they must unite to protect their community from a crime spree orchestrated by the notorious Brennan family. the Sky original will debut on December 22 on Sky and NOW, with the film available on demand.

Lee Mack, portraying Neil, is renowned for his lead role in the sitcom Not Going Out and his hosting gigs on comedy panel show Would I Lie To You, ITV game show The 1% Club, and Sky Original game show Duck Quacks Don’t Echo.

, playing Scott, is a celebrated stand-up comedian known for appearances on panel shows like Have I Got News For You, Would I Lie To You?, and 8 Out Of 10 Cats Does Countdown.

His comedy often draws from his experiences as a blind man. He is also a contestant in the 2024 series of BBC1 dance show .

Off-screen, Lee and Chris share a close friendship and have previously collaborated on an episode of Not Going Out titled The Train and presented an award at the TV BAFTAs. The cast also includes:
