The King’s speech is shown on TV on Christmas Day
Around 45 members of the Royal Family will be preparing to travel to Sandringham within days to attend Christmas with and Queen Camilla.
The monarch, 76, will be hosting the big day at Sandringham with his nearest and dearest, including his son , daughter-in-law Princess Kate, and their three children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
While the time is for relaxing and appreciating family, Christmas for the Royal Family is also very jam-packed according to a royal expert, who says a festive schedule is handed out to family members on arrival.
In the schedule, guests have detailed instructions on when to wake up, gather for drinks, eat meals and go to bed.
Royal author Robert Jobson : “The schedule still exists and it’s really quite exhausting.
“One minute you’re doing one thing, then you have to change for drinks, then get changed again for dinner.”

The expert also said that while the majority of gift-giving happens on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day still has a very packed schedule which involves the famous walk to church, where members of the public gather to greet the royals, followed by Christmas dinner, which is reportedly served at precisely 1pm.
After dinner, the family gather to open novelty crackers before moving to the saloon in Sandringham House to watch the King’s speech.
Jobson said: “They retire there to watch the King’s pre-recorded Christmas message at 3pm, all standing for the National Anthem.”
Like most other families, the day is then finished off with games and watching TV. The royals also gather for a dog walk if the weather conditions allow.
