After living in Los Angeles for 15 years, Cat Deeley and Patrick Kielty relocated to the UK in 2020.
After moving to America in 2006, relocated back to the UK with her husband Patrick Kielty and their two sons Milo, four and James, two in 2020.
She began presenting ‘s alongside , while Patrick resumed hosting RTE’s the Late Late Show in Dublin, marking a permanent move from the US.
While they live in their reside in London, the couple purchased a fixer-upper in Hampstead which they’re currently renovating.
The couple’s architect told the : “The proposed external appearance builds on the inherent character of the existing house but updates it into a contemporary dwelling both in use and character.
“It is inspired by mid-twentieth design ranging from the designs of Alvar Aalto to houses of the west coast of America which are familiar to the clients who spent many years living there.”
The architect continued: “Materials have also been introduced that connect the clients to their previous home in LA and to places that have significant memories for them.”
Patrick and Cat are aiming for a brand new entrance hall, to demolish a living room mezzanine floor and create one big open plan living area.
They also applied for permission to extend the bedrooms by 4ft and to build an external staircase, a new car port, front garden and gate.
When completed, the lavish home will also boast of a “nanny suite” guest room, his and hers dressing rooms, a children’s play area and its very own bar.
Cat told her Instagram followers that there’s still more work to be done, adding: “I’m not going to lie I got a bit of a shock today. Not much house, lots of air.
The couple will live in a star-studded location with neighbours including the likes of Harry Styles, Benedict Cumberbatch, Emma Thompson and Daniel Craig.
