New Disney+ series Paradise promises an enthralling tale of mystery and conspiracy, all set within a wealthy community that is shaken to its core when a shocking murder takes place.

Slated to premiere on January 28 in the UK, Paradise has generated quite a buzz, even earning a spot on WDM Entertainment’s list of the most anticipated conspiracy shows for 2025. The show boasts an all-star ensemble cast, featuring Sterling K. Brown, James Marsden, Julianne Nicholson, and more.

The story follows Xavier Collins (played by Sterling K. Brown), the head of security for a president, as he finds himself at the center of a high-stakes investigation.

As revealed in the trailer, Xavier was the last person to see President Cal Bradford (portrayed by James Marsden) alive, making him a key suspect.

One particularly intriguing moment in the trailer shows an interrogator writing “Say yes” on her hand as she questions Xavier, hinting at a more complex motive behind the crime. Further details about Xavier’s personal life are also teased, showcasing the series’ layered storytelling.

In a tense exchange between Xavier and the president, the latter is seen smoking, prompting Xavier to warn him about the dangers of cigarettes. The president, with a hint of dark humor, dryly remarks, “Yep, well, they can get in line.”

It seems the president is well aware of his numerous adversaries who would relish his downfall.

Xavier discloses that he found the body around 8am, after knocking on the president’s door and finding him lifeless beside his bed.
