You likely know a dozen people who live and die by their air fryers, but not everyone can fit yet another appliance on their kitchen counter. We found a solution for those who want that tantalizing air fryer-crisp without that air fryer bulk — and it’s at a sweet discount for a limited time. This two-piece copper air fryer basket by Gotham Steel ensures crispy, evenly cooked foods without using oils, and all it takes is your regular convection oven. It holds three quarts of food, reviewers say it’s extremely easy to clean. Right now, you can nab this kitchen tool that “exceeds expectations” for only $24.99, 31% off its typical price.
This baking sheet has a “well thought out design” that consists of two pieces: a copper baking sheet to catch grease and crumbs and a three-quart copper perforated cage that ensures air circulates between every crevice. This results in an evenly cooked dish, crisping foods like an air fryer, and, similarly to those bulky devices, without using any cooking oils.
Clean-up is a cinch; many reviewers say they simply wipe it clean when done cooking, though the set is also dishwasher-safe. “Food barely sticks and cleans off with some liquid soap and only a paper towel,” says a reviewer. “I then place it on the top rack of the dishwasher for further cleaning and it comes out looking like new; no peeling coating and no staining.”
Don’t miss out on bringing a fun new tool into the kitchen and nab this two-piece copper crisper for air-fryer quality foods. Read on for more promising reviews, and save 31% off today!
“I am really pleased with this product. Construction insures many years of usage. Well thought out design for air frying in an oven. After several uses, I continue to be impressed for the ease of cleaning, even cooking and down right attractive. Can’t make myself take it off the kitchen counter. GOOD job Gotham Steel.” — Jfrank
“I had purchased another version of this product that was made by Copper Chef. I used it in my Breville Smart Oven Air. It was smaller than the Gotham Steel Crisper XL and worked well at first. I then noticed the ‘coating’ beginning to peel off with each use. It also was difficult to clean and, contrary to the advertised commercials, food stuck to the surfaces and was hard to clean off. After having to wash it by hand, I then put it into the top rack of the dishwasher. After several months, I was too concerned about the health effects of the peeling coating to continue using it. That’s when I decided to try again, but with the Gotham Steel Crisper Tray XL. This tray fits about twice as much as the other one. For a point of reference, with this tray I can make up to 12 chicken wings at a time vs only 6 with the smaller Copper Chef Crisper Tray.
However, the BEST thing I love about the Gotham Steel Crisper Tray XL is that after about 3 or 4 uses, it is actually living up to what the commercials advertise! Food barely sticks and cleans off with some liquid soap and only a paper towel. I then place it on the top rack of the dishwasher for further cleaning and it comes out looking like new; no peeling coating and no staining. It also cooks the food effectively. I did not expect it to be exactly like an air fryer, but the food comes out juicy and delicious and crispy enough on the outside. After my negative experience with the Copper Chef Crisper, I didn’t want to take any chances, so I do line the bottom tray with tin foil. However, when some grease did leak through, it wiped off very easily without any sticking or staining.” — buffettfan
“I acquired all 3 sizes to fit the different meal sizes I work with. First off, it’s beautiful with the copper color and extra smooth finish, and aesthetically it just makes it feel better to use than all the other trays I have used. The first thing I tried to make is Bacon. I used the largest basket 16.5 X 12.5 but it was too short to cover the standard bacon package of up to 11 pieces. This package had only 9 pieces and I had to squeeze each piece up to make it all fit. The edges were touching which is a no-no as the pieces will cook together at the edges and be difficult to separate at the end of the cooking cycle. The flat tray with no basket I normally use is considerably longer and can accommodate a full package of eleven. The basket width is a little short also as the bacon strips are typically 13” long. The cooking went great! I got the recipe online at the Gotham Steel website to give their product a fair shot. Simple enough, 400 degrees for Oven bake at 15 to 18 minutes. PERFECT! All the other recipes I have ever tried using all different oven temperatures and cooking times have never worked out well as stated but this one was right on! Cleanup is a breeze as advertised with just a quick wash with soap and water! The only con I have is a safety one in that there is no easy and safe way to grab both the basket and tray together for removing from the hot oven. It’s a little scary as there is nothing solid to grab onto to confidently hold them together. You have to be extremely careful not to squeeze too hard or you can literally flip the basket right out of the tray onto yourself. There should be some kind of mechanism to lock them together. Other than that, a GREAT PRODUCT!” — SEICORP
“My oven has an air fryer setting. I chose this oven because I didn’t want to have to store another appliance (air fryer). I saw the Gotham air fryer pan being advertised and thought I’d give it a try. I used the air fryer pan today to air fry some chicken wings. The instructions said to not use cooking spray on this product, honestly, there was no need to use any sprays or oils. I turned the wings twice while cooking and they easily came off the pan without sticking. When the wings were done, they again were easy to remove from the pan with no sticking. Hand washing was a breeze, I’m very happy with the Gotham air fryer and I recommend it to anyone who wants to air fry in their oven.” — Rhonda O.
“I have an air fry function on my oven and needed to buy something that would take the place of the traditional air fryer basket. This has worked perfectly. It’s a little bit big but I did that on purpose because I wanted to be able to accommodate a wide variety of foods. It looks very nice and the surface is not scratched at all since buying it. It’s extremely easy to use and I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a solution to a similar problem.” — Eliza Peb
“This air fryer basket and tray work great for out wall over air fryer mode. We couldn’t get one from Frigidaire, so began looking for other possibilities and this one came up. It is the right size for two people, is easy to put in and take out, and it is easy to clean in the dish washer. The oven air fryer takes about twice as long as the really small ones with the tiny baskets. This one works great, especially since we have gotten used to making the adjustment in time. That isn’t the baskets fault – it works great. I like the oven light as we can look in and judge how long its going to take the be fried to perfection! So, we really like the size, the non-stick color and material and its ease of cleaning. If it fits your wall oven, I’d highly recommend it.” — Ray K
