and Mike Tindall have now been married for 13 years, however this doesn’t stop the loved-up pair
While they are not working royals, Princess Anne’s daughter normally makes headlines for a number of reasons, whether that be her love of horse racing, , or her relationship with 46-year-old husband Mike.
However, although it is clear just how much the pair love each other, not many know how the pair met in Australia when Mike, a former England rugby player, was competing in the 2003 World Cup.
The couple were reportedly set up by a mutual friend called Austin, who Zara had met a few times previously at her favourite local pub.
Speaking on the podcast House of Rugby five years ago, Mike explained that he was grumpy when he first met Zara in a pub and didn’t really speak to her, however he was later given her number by his friend Austin, who said that Zara wanted to know where everyone was going out after the World Cup Final.

When Mike relayed this conversation, Zara, 43, quipped: “Which I never said, by the way”, in a brutal seven-word retort.
A group then went out to a bar after the final, with Mike and Zara briefly crossing paths. However, Mike revealed that it was when they landed back in the UK that they began to have “text banter” before meeting up and forming a friendship.
They became a couple in a year later in 2004 before later getting engaged in 2010, with the wedding taking place a year later.

It was revealed this week that the couple are set to head back to Australia together soon.
Zara sat down with the to confirm she for Magic Millions in January along with her husband.
The outlet confirmed: “She and Mike will have to leave the children at home again when they visit Australia, after Christmas with the Royal Family in Sandringham, since school starts again in January.”
