BBC Breakfast’s Naga Munchetty was quick to respond to Carol Kirkwood after a cheeky ‘dig’ live on air.
The show was back this morning for a new episode ahead of Christmas, with and anchoring the show. was also on hand to chat about the weather.
During Thursday’s show, they were chatting about ‘s music video before talk turned to who would play Carol in a video, with Charlie quickly adding: “Who do you think would play Carol in the video?”
He then replied: “Well she’s listening so I’m not going to say. I can feel her presence,” as Naga added: “You can feel her eyes boreing into the side of you. Morning Carol!” Charlie then said: “I’m saying nothing.”
“That’s probably for the best Charlie,” Carol chimed in to say, with Naga adding: “I should probably learn that lesson from time to time I think.” Carol was quick to respond: “Absolutely Naga, that could be your new year’s resolution.”
Naga interrupted to say: “Yeah alright! Fat chance!” before everything turned more jovial as they asked how Carol was doing.
