A mum was left red-faced after her hilarious encounter with a delivery driver was captured on her Ring doorbell.
The amusing incident involved Georgia Bennett-Smith’s mother and the delivery driver, with the embarrasing moment recorded by the motion-detecting Ring camera at their Stoke-on-Trent home.
Georgia revealed her -fuelled mum had a heartwarming interaction with the food delivery man on Sunday, December 15.
After receiving their order, she wished him a “Ah thank you, have a lovely ” to which he responded: “Yeah. Thank you.”
However, things took a turn when Georgia’s mum said: “Love you, ahh,” leaving the driver stunned.
She then kissed him goodbye on each cheek, wishing him a “Happy New Year. See you soon, bye bye.” Georgia later joked about her mum being a “couple of wines” deep during the 8.40pm delivery.
Georgia revealed: “When mum’s had a couple of wines and tells the delivery drivers loves him.”
The family’s anecdote received mixed reactions from their circle, as reported by What’s The Jam. While some found the Ring camera footage endearing, describing the exchange as sweet, others couldn’t help but cringe at the awkwardness they believed was embarrassing.
