“I really enjoy this whisky,” said a five-star review. “Smoky taste with a small dose of fruit. Drinkability absolutely on point, not burning your throat even one iota.”

“One of the nicer whiskies available at this price range,” said another fan. “Nice smooth taste with the classic warming feeling coming after.” Another five-star review added: “A very good whisky, I would happily buy another bottle, would be great as a special present.”

Of course, we’re all gifted with unique palates. “Unfortunately this isn’t a great whisky,” said one detractor. “I thought it would turn out better than it did. There is an aftertaste and initial chemical hit which disappoints.” Another said: “For me this has been bottled too early. A few more years in a sherry cask would have benefited this tremendously. It’s not terrible, just not as good as the reviews suggest.”
