‘ vowed that not only would he refuse to welcome controversial in his home at , but he would pay him no “respect”, as he addressed the latest royal scandal.
He also made a chilling prediction about the trend Andrew could set for the other royals if he opts to skip the family’s huge festive event this year. He has allegedly been advised to stay away after he came into the spotlight for his association with a Chinese businessman who has since been banned from the UK over “spying” fears.
Andrew clarified that he’d “ceased all contact” with the alleged spy, Yang Tenbo, who likewise insists he’s “done nothing wrong” – but the damage could have already been done. Eamonn sarcastically quipped this morning: “If you want to open your home to Andrew on the day and make sure he gets a meal…” only for co-star Isabel Webster to joke in reply: “Are you offering?”
She could scarcely contain her amusement, visibly chuckling as Eamonn grimaced in distaste. “No, I don’t like him – he’s brazen!” he shot back.
“I would quickly tell him, ‘Throw a hook somewhere, mate.’ I wouldn’t be interested in him, I wouldn’t pay him any respect!” The GB News star then suggested that Andrew’s absence could “set a new trend for next year”, predicting that he might have a “lovely” and peaceful time alone in front of the TV away from the festive stress – and that others might follow suit.

He teased that Andrew’s absence could be a “lovely excuse to get out of” an awkward family Christmas in subsequent years.
Eamonn also addressed his own feelings about being sociable over the festive season, joking: “I don’t like people! I don’t want anyone visiting me. I can sit with my children!”
He admitted that his brothers tend to “annoy” him – and he seemed to have sympathy for those who might be dreading family rows and tensions on the day.
