Prince William reveals the relatable thing he loves doing on Christmas Day

may be first-in-line to the throne, however it appears the royal is way more down-to-earth than some may think.

On a to meet servicemen and women, along with their families, the future king, 42, was asked about what his Christmas will look like this year.

While the Prince of Wales confirmed Christmas Day will be spent at Sandringham with the rest of the Royal Family, hosted by King Charles and Queen Camilla, he also revealed a relatable thing he enjoys doing over the festive period.

When talking to the military families, the prince said he hopes he will be able to enjoy dog walks over the Christmas holidays.

Leah St Clair-Lewis said she talked to the prince about her role within services welfare before the conversation turned to their dogs.

, she said: “We spoke about what he was up to for Christmas and enjoying walks with his dogs at Sandringham.

“He said there will be 45 of them under one roof for Christmas.

“He didn’t say whether that was just for one day or over the Christmas period. They must need a very long table.”

also revealed the more down-to-earth side of himself on the visit by talking about his wife Princess Kate, 42, and their three children Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, nine, and Prince Louis, six.

As well as watching series with Kate, William told a teenager at the lunch what else he enjoys doing in his spare time.

Dylan Potter, 14, said: “I asked what does a prince do for fun? He said he likes watching movies and hanging out with his children but because he is over 40 finds fun hard to come by.”

The prince will be spending December 25 at Sandringham House, however is likely to return to his Norfolk home Amner Hall in the evening with his wife and three children.
