Jenna, Savannah, Sheinelle and their kids celebrate the holidays at White House party

Journalists weren’t the only ones celebrating at a recent White House holiday press party.

TODAY host Jenna Bush Hager shared a sweet video to Instagram Dec. 14, featuring her daughter Mila spinning around with anchor Savannah Guthrie’s daughter, Vale, at the event.

Donning sparkly dresses and bows in their hair, Mila, 11, and Vale, 10, were all smiles and laughs as they danced together to music from “The Nutcracker” in a grand room filled with Christmas decorations.

“What a magical night–seeing old friends! Seeing this special place through my Mila’s eyes! Wow! Thanks so much for having us @potus,” Jenna captioned the post, thanking President Joe Biden for the event.

“Had you told my 22-year-old self, I’d be back at the press party, I would have never believed it!” she continued, referring to her own time at the White House when her dad, former President George W. Bush, was in office.

Jenna’s post also included heartwarming shots of Jenna posing with some of the TODAY family’s kids — including Mila, Vale and Sheinelle Jones’ son Kayin, 15 — in front of portraits of her family members.

Two photos showed the group standing beside paintings of former Presidents George H. W. Bush and George W. Bush.

In another photo, Mila smiles in front of a portrait of her grandmother, former first lady Laura Bush.

Sheinelle also took a picture with former first lady Michelle Obama’s portrait, while Kayin posed in front of Barack Obama and John F. Kennedy’s official portraits.

The rest of Jenna’s post featured the group enjoying the White House Christmas decor, munching on some sweet treats and sharing lots of laughs.

On her Instagram story, Jenna shared more moments from the party, posing with Savannah, Sheinelle and their kids, as well as NBC News’ Andrea Mitchell.

Savannah also shared photos from the night and wrote on Instagram, “A beautiful night for our kids that they won’t soon forget. Thank you @whitehouse.”
