In an article, titled ‘Harry and Meghan’s Projects Can’t Stop Flopping’, the publication discussed and its “horrific reviews”.

The scathing criticism comes after Meghan, 43, appeared to have been favoured by the magazine following .

Speaking about Polo, writer Daniella Cohen said that it “seems like this one is bound for the same fate as Markle’s beleaguered jam company” – although the Duchess of Sussex has not yet officially launched her lifestyle brand seemingly set to include jams among its products.

The publication also referred to Meghan and Harry’s quest to build a successful venture as producers in the US, describing their attempts “tortured”.

This comes just days after the release of Polo – the couple’s new five-part documentary.

Polo, which explores the elite world of the sport that Harry has played for many years, has been slammed by many royal experts, including Richard Fitzwilliams and the Mail on Sunday’s editor Charlotte Griffiths.

In one of two tweets about the show, Richard tweeted: “I’m angry that I’ve had to spend so much time watching this non-event. Tina Brown said the Sussexes were bad planners. Where is the appeal for this 5-parter on Polo, an elitist sport? They must have known few would watch. It’s really dull if you aren’t into the game.”

Much like Mr Fitzwilliams, the show was not enjoyed by the Mail on Sunday’s Charlotte Griffiths. She labelled the show as a “load of old tosh”.

Following the release of Polo, Meghan will soon be gearing up for the reveal of her own cooking show – which will also be released as part of their lucrative deal. The series, which was said to be in early development earlier this year, will feature Meghan celebrating “the joys of cooking, gardening, entertaining, and friendship”.
