remains the favourite to win  tonight (December 14). However, there is one thing that could get in his way.

Throughout the competition, Chris and his professional partner Dianne Buswell have wowed viewers with their incredible routines and choreography.

Fans have been particularly impressed by the comedian’s ability to learn Dianne’s tricky choreography as Strictly’s first blind contestant.

But, out of the four contestants, Chris is the lowest-scoring dancer.

Over the competition’s 12-week run, has received the most points with a total score of 477.

has 450 points and is closely behind him with 447.

Chris, however, is trailing behind with a total score of 406.

Last week, Chris opened up about the pressure he is facing after being named the favourite to win since the start – admitting that he knows he is not the best dancer in the competition.

Appearing on ‘s Staying Relevant podcast, the comedian said: “I was about 20/1 when this started and it went down to about 12/1 based on the opening show alone. The odds dropped purely because I took the p*** out of GPs and I made a few jokes about Dianne having a holiday booked in November. There was no dancing involved.

“If it was based on the best dancer, the competition would have been one week long. But that’s the great thing about it. Vote for Tasha if you think it’s about the best dancer, vote for Sarah if you think it’s about being an incredible dancer and a bit of a journey, and vote for me if you like the underdog!”

In the competition, the Strictly scoring system combines judges’ and viewers’ votes to determine who leaves.

But in the final the judges’ scores will be for reference only and the winner will be decided purely by the public vote.

Betfred representative Kayley Cornelius said: “Unwavering frontrunner remains the favourite to win this weekend. With odds of 1/20 and a 95 percent probability of victory, our trading team tells me he’s the shortest-priced Strictly frontrunner in the market’s history- we’ve never seen a favourite this strong!”

Nonetheless, there’s an air of uncertainty now enveloping the contest with Cornelius noting: “Meanwhile, appears to have made a dramatic U-turn. After being tipped to leave last week, he’s now expected to finish as runner-up and has surged ahead in the betting markets at 1/16.”

Such news is less favourable for who, until now, securely held second place but has seen her odds slip to 25/1. Still, she remains forecasted to end within the top three.
