New routes by the Oslo-based airline will include flights to Alesund in Norway
An -based airline is set to expand its UK presence with new services.
airline is launching three new direct routes for summer 2025 providing even more travel options for Brits to Scandinavia and the Baltics.
It will launch flights from London Gatwick to the Norwegian city of Alesund, starting from April 11 and the capital Riga, starting from March 30.
Alongside these two new routes, the carrier will also introduce a new service between Newcastle and on May 2.

The new changes don’t stop there for Norwegian as there will also be added routes from Helsinki airport to Malta on June 4 and Bucharest on June 3.
Flights from Stockholm’s Arlanda airport to Bucharest are set to commence from May 1, Porto from June 4, Lyon from June 13 and Bilbao from June 14.
The airline said it plans to operate a total of 344 routes to 128 destinations across Europe in next summer’s schedule, which starts in late March. Currently, Norwegian airlines winter schedule offers 170 routes to 76 destinations.
“From the UK, we are introducing direct routes to vibrant European cities,” said commercial director for Norwegian, Magnus Thome Maursund.
He said: “As the summer months are a busy travel period, we encourage customers to plan and book their holidays early to secure seats.”
The new route of London Gatwick to Ålesund service will operate twice weekly with flights between London Gatwick and Riga running two to three times per week.

The Newcastle to Copenhagen route is set to operate twice weekly with all three routes operating as part of Norwegian’s summer programme – running from late March through to October.
