James Martin was back in his kitchen for a Christmas themed show on Saturday morning (December 14) on ITV. The celeb chef was joined by Mike Reid who planned to make a Christmas pudding.
But James was soon left laughing when the chef revealed his to be a family secrect.
Introducing his guest chef, James said: “What are you going to be doing then? This is from your travels, but from your family this .
“Yeah this is my heritage, this is my Christmas,” Mike replied.
He added: “It’s a Caribbean Christmas pudding, it’s my grandmother’s which was passed down from her mum and so on.”

James chipped in: “There’s a little story with this that you weren’t supposed to give it away and now you’re about to give it away on national TV.”
The pair started laughing as Mike confirmed: “My mum is not particularly happy, so mum sorry.”
