Kamloops Search and Rescue and the RCMP are trying to locate a skier last seen boarding a Sun Peaks chairlift late Tuesday morning.

According to a statement released on Thursday, 68-year-old Tomasz Jaholkowski boarded the chairlift at around 11:30 a.m. The resort is 60 km northeast of Kamloops.
Tk’emlúps rural RCMP detachment received a missing person’s report for Jaholkowski on Wednesday.
“Mr. Jaholkowski does not appear to have returned to his hotel room, nor has he been heard from since checking into the run on Tuesday,” said Corp. Crystal Evelyn, Kamloops RCMP spokesperson.
“We are very concerned for his well-being and are asking anyone who may have seen him or has information on his potential whereabouts, to please contact police as soon as possible.”
Evelyn said the Sun Peaks ski patrol is also helping in the search that includes helicopters and drones.
Jaholkowski is Caucasian, 5-foot-10 and weighs 180 pounds.
He was last seen wearing a red and black ski jacket, dark ski pants, and a dark toque.
