Tasha Ghouri and Aljaz Skorjanec on the red carpet at the Daily Mirror 2024 Pride of Britain Awards
favourite has been dealt a fresh blow just days before the live final.
The former Love Island star stormed her way to the grand final alongside her returning professional dancer Aljaz Skorjanec.
But it’s fair to say the pair are up against stiff competition against JLS singer , comedian and Miranda star in the final battle to lift to coveted glitterball trophy this weekend.
It’s fair to say the blonde bombshell has been putting in her all for the highly-anticipated final, with her friends and family all excited to come and watch her final performance.
However, one familiar face won’t be there to support her in the crowd. On Wednesday (December 11), her doting dad Tarek announced the sad news that he won’t be there to cheer her on for the big show.

Instead, he will be showing his support from across the other side of the world as she shared a snap from inside the lavish Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse lounge.
He shared a glass of fizz alongside an image of a QR code that encouraged visitors to “scan for champagne”, something her dad was more than happy to oblige with.
Tarek cheekily captioned the post: “We’re scanning like an Aldi checkout” alongside a laughing emoji, before he issued the sad update. He went on:” Sadly we can’t be at SCD final as we’re heading on a Caribbean cruise booked before we knew [crying emoji].”
Still keen to show his support, Tasha’s dad continued: “BUT we will be watching and cheering and praying for @tashaghouri to slam it.”
It didn’t take long before the star was inundated with well wishes as several of his followers urged him to enjoy his winter break in the sun.
One user penned: “Tasha and Aljaz are my winners, and always have been. Enjoy your cruise.” Another echoed: “Enjoy! Tasha has been getting my vote since it started [rock on emoji]” as a third echoed: “Have the best time on the cruise!”
It comes just days after he showered his daughter with pride after she made it through to the final.
He wrote: “What a rollercoaster but here we are… @tashaghouri made the final! Pride is not a big enough word to describe the feeling I hold deep inside about this achievement of her life-long ambition. @aljazskorjanec once again my friend THANK YOU for helping get her there.”
The final airs on Saturday (December 14) on One from 6pm or catch up on iPlayer.
