The wait is almost over as this weekend a new winner will be announced. After months of taking to the dancefloor, viewers will see either or raise the Glitterball on Saturday night.
In anticipation of the grand finale, Strictly’s official has revealed all of the routines the celebrities will be doing on the night. Although this hasn’t gone down well with fans of the show.
One person raged: “Hardly fair how the judges have picked couples choice for two couples.” Another wrote: “Very disappointed in Sarah and Vito’s dance choices would love to have seen Argentine tango or couples choice.”
Someone else commented: “Wish we didn’t have any Couple’s Choice routines in the final…”. Not happy, one fan said: “Stop putting Couple’s Choice in the final.”
Another wrote: “I hate to see Couple Choices in the final! I feel like the showdances need their own moment and to be special, but when they’re doing couples choice it feels like the showdance isn’t outstanding. They should have to do one ballroom and one Latin, then make their show dance whatever they want.”

Last weekend, fans saw the semi-finalists take to the dancefloor twice as they performed two separate routines. JB and his professional partner Lauren Oakley were at the top of the leaderboard with a near-perfect score of 79 out of 80.
Their first dance earned them a total of 39, while their second was awarded top marks. Following close behind is and Aljaž Škorjanec who have a combined score of 75.
Although at the bottom of the leaderboard are and Jowita Przystał, who earned a total of 65 overall. Sadly, this marked the end of Pete’s Strictly journey as he found himself in the dance-off against Tasha.
In the end, all four judges opted to keep Tasha in the competition. However, it seemed as though Pete was in good spirits as he had nothing but kind words to say about his time on the programme.

As the studio audience erupted into applause, host Tess Daley said: “You’ve given us so many unforgettable moments over the last 12 weeks. It’s just been wonderful, what has it meant to you?”
He replied: “It’s been wild, I’ve been quite honest about the fact that I didn’t necessarily want to do this [Strictly] in the first place, but everyone else wanted me to do it, and I am so, so glad that I did it!
“You don’t always have to be the best, but if you enjoy something then why shouldn’t you have a go at it? I’ve tried my best from day one, I said I was in for a penny, in for a pound and I’ve done it, it’s been beautiful.”
