Floyd Mayweather ‘confronted by mob’ while shopping in London due to Israel vs Palestine

was reportedly chased out of a London jewellery district due to his support for amid the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.

has emerged which appears to show the undefeated boxing legend being bundled into a black 4×4 car by his security team and driven away from the scene.

Mayweather had been browsing expensive jewellery and watches in the Hatton Garden area of the capital when he was confronted by a group of between eight and ten people, a witness told . The same report states that Mayweather was asked why he supports , to which he said he was ‘proud to support the Jews’.

Only days ago the 47-year-old launched the Mayweather Initiative with the aim of giving every orphan in a free birthday present.

He was also one of the first big celebrities to visit the nation after last year’s October 7 attacks, in which over 1,000 civilians were killed by Hamas. Last month, Mayweather hosted a barbecue at an Defense Forces military base and was a guest of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who he publicly urged to ‘never back down’.

A witness said that the Hatton Garden incident was wrapped up in two minutes, with at least one member of the group ‘taking a swing’ at Mayweather.

However, a close to the former boxer claims that he was not touched or harmed during the confrontation.

Mayweather was also challenged by an activist at a Las Vegas press conference while launching his new vape brand earlier this year. A Palestinian flag was reportedly confiscated by his security team during the media gathering, which prompted loud chants of ‘Free Palestine’.

Nicknamed ‘Money’ and ‘Pretty Boy’, Mayweather is regarded as one of the greatest boxers of all time, having retired with an unblemished 50-0 record.

His last fight with a fully-fledged boxer came against Andre Berto in 2015, but he went on to bank for a hotly-anticipated bout with MMA fighter Conor McGregor two years later.

Mayweather has since taken part in a number of lucrative exhibition events, including against YouTube stars Deji and Logan Paul.

The American’s net worth stretches into the hundreds of millions, and he recently agreed a mega-money deal to purchase a block of apartments in Manhattan, New York.
