Tasha Ghouri has lifted the lid on an unseen poignant moment from her dance-off.
The reality TV star has gracefully twirled her way to the show’s final, paired with professional dancer Aljaz Skorjanec. Visiting It Takes Two prior to the showdown, she reminisced about her journey.
In a tense dance-off during the weekend, Tasha and Aljaz once again found themselves pitted against another contestant; this time, it was . However, he bowed out of the competition as the panel unanimously voted to keep Tasha and her partner in the contest, reports .
During her It Takes Two appearance, Tasha reminisced: “I’d happily dance the waltz again. It was so beautiful to dance. I remember being in the marquee, and by the time we did it on the dancefloor, I felt it needed more.
“I just let go, and there was a moment where I closed my eyes, and we were just dancing together. You never know when it’s going to be your last, and the waltz was just the one that, honestly, I was excited for for such a long time. We danced as one.”
Aljaz and Tasha appeared on It Takes Two tonight
After the semi-final, Tasha took to social media platforms, overflowing with excitement for reaching her goal of making the final.
She posted: “WHAT A SEMI FINAL! ! my goal on this show was to just make it to the final, that’s all I wanted to do and I have with a few kickbacks. I’m so proud that I didn’t give up and kept fighting. I’m just so excited to just let go, enjoy this week and do a show dance! My strictly journey is complete! ! I can’t believe I’m a finalist.”
Tasha also paid tribute to her fellow contestant Pete, who was eliminated from the competition, expressing her gratitude for his support. She shared: “Being in the bottom two with you was the hardest thing on this show. You’re so kind, humble, sweetest soul and when I say he has really taken me under his wing during this time and for that I’m so thankful, truly have found a friend for life. you should be so so proud of yourself! You and @jowitaprzystal partnership was so beautiful to watch.”

She also had heartfelt words for her dance partner Alijaz, confessing she was “feeling sad” about their journey coming to an end. Addressing Alijaz directly, Tasha continued: “Feeling sad this is our last week but what a time we had with the salsa and waltz, I can’t wait to dance with you many more times this weekend. I have so much more to say but I’ll be saving that till Saturday night.”
