Organizers for the 2025 Juno Awards are seeking volunteers to help with the big event.

Read on for everything you need to know about volunteering for the Juno Awards.

When do the Juno Awards take place?

Set to be hosted by B.C.’s own Michael Bublé, the celebration will take place March 27 through 30, 2025 and will include a number of community events leading up to the awards broadcast on the final day.

What roles are being filled for the Junos?

Volunteer roles needing to be filled include drivers, greeters, Junofest support, brand ambassadors, public relations assistants and more. You could even volunteer to be a seat filler for the big broadcast.

Volunteers are also needed to help “unpack shipments, set up offices and event spaces, deliver items at venues across town, greet guests, survey attendees, assist at JUNOS events, and much more.”

Some of those roles are more specialized and require special skills, but there’s a variety of opportunities for anyone interested.

Why should I volunteer with the Junos?

“Volunteering with the JUNOS is an incredible opportunity to work alongside passionate music enthusiasts and take part in executing one of the most significant cultural events in Canada’s entertainment industry,” reads a volunteer call-out issued by the Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences, which puts together the JUNOS.

“Whether you’re interested in supporting broadcast, on-site event activities, or other immersive positions offering a deeper learning opportunity throughout the week, this is a unique chance to gain valuable experience while creating unforgettable memories!”

What are the volunteer requirements or eligibility?

No prior experience is necessary though you do have to be over the age of 18. The volunteer search is being advertised as “the perfect opportunity for anyone looking to get into the music industry or event management.”

Some roles require special skills but others are entry-level opportunities and welcome anyone.

Applicants from outside Vancouver are welcome, however, no travel or accommodations are provided.

What are the hours required for volunteering?

You’ll also need to have a flexible schedule as some of the details for JUNO Week won’t be confirmed until closer to the big event.

However, most of the volunteer shifts will be during JUNOS Week, though there are some roles that will require work leading up to the big week. Each volunteer is asked to commit to a minimum of two shifts, with most shifts between four to five hours long.

Active volunteers will also be able to use an interactive scheduling portal to pick and choose their own shifts that fit their schedule. You could even schedule shifts to work with a friend or spouse, if you log on to pick your shifts at the same time.
