shared that she had a tricky decision to make as she approaches her 64th birthday in just two weeks time. The former Countdown host took to to ask her 636,000 followers for some advice.
The star explained that she was considering changing her hair colour – reverting back to a similar style from 20 years ago. Sharing a throwback picture of her as a brunette, Carol compared the look to her current blonde locks.
Explaining the post, the TV star penned: “Shall I go back to brunette? Coming up to my 64th birthday in two weeks time and kinda want to kick my butt a bit.”Born brunette. Went blonde when the grey roots started…blonde easier than looking like a skunk.
“Now I’m fed up of blonde. Shall I go back to brunette like in the first pic?” Jokingly she added: “(Mind you I was also a lot thinner in my 40s)”
Plenty of people rushed to support her as they assured Carol that she looks good no matter what. One person in the comments was former Big Brother host, Davina McCall.
She wrote: “You look gorgeous any colour !!!!” Carol responded, saying: “Awwwww thank you missus…. I’m just in that phase leading up to a big birthday (64) and kicking my own lazy butt in 64 ways… this is one of them I think.”
Others joined in with the positive praise in the comments, as one fan wrote: “Who cares – you’re a class act whatever you choose. An amazing woman and an inspiration!”

“I always go dark for winter, blonde for summer.. But you could have bright green hair and you would still look gorgeous!,” another echoed.
Someone else advised: “You look fabulous either way. I actually think dark with golden flashes like ‘s colours would really suit you too.”
While a fourth social media user wrote: “You look amazing blonde but I do loveeeeee this on you I think you should xx” It seemed Carol had made up her mind, as she replied to the comment saying: “Then I will…..can always change back I guess.”
