Holly Valance might have started out her career as a famous soap star, but she quickly turned to political commentary and became a fervent supporter of
Born Holly Rachel Vukadinović, she rose to fame on Australian soap opera as Felicity Scully – a role she held from 1999 until 2002. She got another big break in hit Fox show Prison Break, in which she starred as Nika Volek.
Holly even released three albums across her career as an actress and singer – with her first album Footprints achieving three top three singles.
By 2024, she was making headlines as “radical-right royalty”, leaving her acting career behind in 2013 to appear on shows like and joining as a member.

Famous partners
When it comes to her personal life, Holly isn’t shy about making it public. From 2005 to 2009, when she was still acting, she was linked to Australian actor Alex O’Loughlin, best known for his role in Hawaii Five-0 and for starring alongside Jennifer Lopez in The Back-up Plan.
By 2010, Holly had moved on with British property developer Nick Candy. The pair tied the knot in Los Angeles in 2012, and went on to welcome two daughters together – Luka Violet Toni in 2013 and Nova Skye Coco Candy in 2017.
Nick has described his wife as the “perfect mother”, telling the Sunday Telegraph: “Holly is a perfect mother. It was a natural birth.
“We have decided to call her Luka Violet Toni Candy. Her nickname will be LuLu, but, if she ever goes into business, LuLu Candy doesn’t quite work!”
Feud with sister
Holly might be keen on sharing her political views with the world, but it turns out her sister Olympia Valance had a horrified three-word response to her making headlines.
Holly gave her opinion on “fabulous” on a podcast, branding him “extremely gentlemanly” before admitting “everyone starts off as a leftie” but at some point “wakes up” and switches to being conservative.
She said on the GB News Chopper’s Political Podcast: “After you start either making money, working, trying to run a business, trying to buy a home, and then you realise what crap ideas they all are.”
But Olympia wasn’t happy, admitting when she heard her sister’s words she was “like, ‘Oh my God’. When she said all that stuff, I’m like, ‘Oh God! Everyone’s going to think that’s what I think!’ And I don’t.”
She added: “She has the right to say the things that she wants to say… but yes, that’s not my opinion on anything.”

Huge net worth
With her husband Nick acting as treasurer for Reform UK – after renouncing his membership – it makes sense Holly is worth a fair bit.
Nick rose to fame as a property designer, notably renovating a £150million Hyde Park building which catapulted him to prominence. Nick’s net worth is listed as somewhere around $2billion (£1.57billion), while Holly’s comes in at $20million (£15.7million) according to Celebrity Net Worth.

Controversial comments
Holly has come under fire from several different angles, including when she slammed climate activist as a “demonic little gremlin”.
She fumed: “I don’t understand why you have this, like, demonic little gremlin high priestess of climatism as the goddess in classrooms, Greta. All the kids are all coming home with depression and anxiety. Why would you go to your music lesson or bother doing your homework or get out of your bed if you think we’re all going to be dead in five years anyway?”
The star doesn’t believe sex education or sexuality should be taught in schools, stating: “I don’t think sexuality and children should be in the same sentence. I don’t think anyone’s sexuality is anyone’s business. You don’t know about mine. I don’t know about yours. Why would we?”

Legal battles
In 2003, Holly’s former manager Scott Michaelson sued Valance Corp. – Holly’s company – after he was dismissed from his job 15 months before his contract was set to expire. He won the case and was awarded damages, though Valance insisted he had been “negligent” as a manager.
In the case, Holly’s Neighbours co-star Kym Valentine claimed: “[Valance] said she was feeling bad, a bit stressed out, because she was leaving Scott”, adding: “She said the solicitors for her record company would get her out of the contract and would be faxing him the paperwork to do so.”
Valance Corp was forced to pay $350,000 to Biscayne Partners Pty. Ltd. – but the court didn’t award Biscayne a percentage of her album sales.
