Hairy Bikers’ Si King announces new on-screen role after Dave Myers’ death

Si confirmed he’s eagerly anticipating his new segment on another network, saying: “Thanks for the invitation, I’m on Good Morning and I’m doing the cooking-“. But when he mistakenly referred to as Good Morning, Susanna was quick to correct him.

Following the blunder, Richard lightheartedly suggested Si could join them on their programme instead. Upon being asked when he will start his gig on This Morning, Si shared that he’s set to appear from January, reports .

In the segment, Si delved into details about the upcoming documentary which is set to show the deeply moving homage of 46,000 motorcyclists for Dave in what was an incredibly emotional ride.

Reflecting on that touching tribute, Si mentioned: “You know moments in your life when you can’t find the words to describe; there are no superlatives to describe what happened that day.”

He continued, expressing the depth of that experience: “It was community, it was love, it was respect, it was fellowship and a massive, massive outpouring of love for my best mate Dave, you know, it was wonderful.”

Set to premiere on December 23, the documentary promises an intimate look at significant points in Dave and Si’s 25 years on television.

Elaborating further, Si remarked: “It was a very special show to pull together. Full of nostalgia, laughs and celebration of my best friend and his life.”

‘s Head of Commissioning, Factual Entertainment and Events, Catherine Catton, also commented on the emotional significance of the film, saying: “Dave and Si hold a very special place in the Nation’s heart, and this emotional film pays tribute to an extraordinary friendship.”

People were quick to comment on Si’s appearance on Good Morning Britian, with many quick to congratulate him on the new role. One person said: “Good Morning Si. Just watched you on GMB.
