Donald Trump breaks silence after Prince William meeting with gushing eight-word remark

has gushed over his meeting with the over the weekend with an eight-word remark, it has emerged.

The two men met in Paris on Saturday, where they both travelled following a devastating fire in 2019.

Now, in a new interview with the , the US President-elect gave a rare insight into his encounter with the prince.

He gushed over their meeting, telling the outlet: “I had a great talk with the prince.”

Mr Trump also praised his looks, adding that he is “very handsome”.

He said: “He’s a good-looking guy. He looked really, very handsome last night.

“Some people look better in person? He looked great. He looked really nice, and I told him that.”

The duo sat on light-yellow sofas in the Salon Jaune room, which had gold-coloured patterned wallpaper, a Christmas tree in the corner and a chandelier overhead.

According to the new US President, they also discussed King Charles and Princess Kate’s health after their challenging year together.

The monarch was diagnosed with a form of cancer back in February, while the Princess of Wales announced the same kind of diagnosis a few weeks later. In October, she said that she had completed her cancer treatment and was looking forward to trying to stay “cancer-free”.

Mr Trump said: “I asked him about his wife, and he said she’s doing well.

“And I asked him about his father, and his father is fighting very hard, and he loves his father, and he loves his wife, so it was sad,” Trump said.

“We had a great talk for half an hour, a little more than half an hour. We had a great, great talk.”
