The used vehicle retailer has shared a list of the 10 best value pre-owned models drivers can currently buy, offering modern styling, plenty of standard equipment, and a interior space for .
Whilst few motorists appreciate , falling prices can be a blessing for used car buyers, allowing them to save significantly on a recent model.
According to CarGurus, the model that fell in price the most during the 12 months leading to November 2024 was the all-electric , with values down 34.5 percent in a year.
Rivalling the and , the Leaf was one of the first mainstream electric models and, in its second generation, still offers plenty of technology and a handy range of up to 239 miles per charge.
Currently, the average price of a second generation Nissan Leaf, produced since 2017, is £10,972 – a reduction of nearly £6,000 in the space of a year.

Similarly, CarGurus highlighted that the all-electric Volkswagen ID4 is another smart buy on the used market, with values falling by 33.5 percent in 12 months.
A much larger EV than the Leaf, the Volkswagen ID4 offers plenty of room for the growing family and their luggage, plus a particularly comfortable driving style compared to rivals.
In November 2024, the average used car buyer spent £24,382 on a Volkswagen ID4, with a £16,000 budget enough to get another clean example with slightly more miles on the clock.

Finally, CarGurus noted that the Skoda Enyaq is another smart choice on the used car market, falling in value by 32.9 percent between November 2023 and November 2024.
Based on the same platform as the ID4, the Enyaq offers similar amounts of space and refinement but with bold styling seen across the Skoda range, including a large hexagonal grille.
According to the company, the average price of a used Skoda Enyaq listed on their website fell by more than £11,000 in 12 months, with buyers paying £25,107 for a used example in November 2024.
