Maura Higgins was quick to reprimand her fellow campmate Barry McGuigan after he spilled the beans on her post-jungle activities.
The 34-year-old former Love Island contestant and the 63-year-old boxing legend were both booted from the jungle earlier in the week, with Maura declaring her intention to indulge in some red wine upon her exit.
Following their departure, the duo appeared on the companion show, Unpacked, where they dished on their time on the show. However, Barry couldn’t resist teasing Maura about her first night of freedom, revealing that she had spent it drinking and had hardly slept. The Irish sportsman remarked: “It’s fascinating being on this side, we just stuffed our faces.”
He quipped about Maura’s lack of rest, saying: “I had a good sleep, not sure you had a good sleep Maura. She’s been drinking long into the night.”
To which Maura retorted: “Barry don’t tell everyone!” However, Barry went on: “Ohh it’s amazing, you wouldn’t believe it when you look at her”, reports .

In conversation with host Joel Dommett, Maura confessed to only getting an hour and a half of sleep as she reveled in her newfound freedom. She admitted: “I only slept for an hour an a half. I went crazy with the food, I had a bottle of wine last night, yeah I definitely went overboard.”
When Barry probed about the quantity of wine, Maura confirmed: “Yes only one Barry! And my stomach is a bit dodgy today, I’m not going to lie.”
The eviction of Maura and Barry came as a shock to many fans, as the pair had been tipped as potential finalists.
In a segment aired on Friday following her Thursday exit, Maura admitted she wasn’t ready to leave the jungle, despite expressing her happiness post-departure. In the scene, Maura confessed she “wasn’t ready” to depart but had a premonition it was her last day before the announcement.

She declared: “I don’t want to go! I’m not ready to leave! But if it’s my time, it’s my time.”
Her intuition proved correct as Ant and Dec soon announced her departure from the camp, leading Maura to confess: “I knew it, I had that feeling.”
Her sudden exit left her fellow campmates shocked, with Coleen Rooney admitting Maura and Barry would be sorely missed. She lamented their exits, saying: “I’m gutted. Two big personalities, they will be truly missed.”
