Loose Women favourite Charlene White has declared that she has no intention of marrying her longtime partner – and she has a very practical reason.

Charlene, 44, says that she and her 44-year-old TV producer partner Andy are already “linked together forever”, and “life is great as it is.”

Besides, Charlene explained to Best magazine, “I have a million members in my family, so even if I wanted to so it, it would be a very expensive day – and weddings are expensive enough!”

She comes from a family that doesn’t do any kind of get-together by halves. Even funerals are massive, joyous affairs: “A funeral with fewer than 100 mourners is seen as small,” she previously told the Daily Mail.

And, alongside her large, but close-knit family, Charlene also has the Loose Women family to factor in. She says that she bonded with the team from the first moment she walked onto the set: “I remember walking in on my first day, and I was so nervous.

“These are women who I’ve grown up watching – and have so much respect and pride for – and to sit in a room with them… I honestly couldn’t even find the words to describe how nervous I was then.

“But then they gave me a big hug, and told me how great and amazing I was going to be.”

She added that she’s thoroughly enjoyed her Loose Women experience, and she couldn’t have done it without support from every women she’s worked with.

She describes her particular closeness with Judi Love, who also appears with her on Celebrity Gogglebox, but adds that every member of the Loose Women team brings something special to the table: “Denise is like the naughty girl at the back of the class that I wish I could have been, hope I become when I grow up.”

Charlene says that a hug from Linda Robson is “worth a million pounds” because it “feels like coming home.”

The dream guests she would add to the panel, she says, would be either Michelle Obama or the Princess of Wales.

Charlene feels that Princess Kate, in particular, would be a fascinating interview: “We don’t get to hear her talking about her girl gang… and with the cancer treatment that she’s been having, and juggling parenting, she must have a girl gang behind her, helping her hold up.”
