BBC Strictly’s Pete Wicks ‘gutted’ as he reveals real reason he’s not doing tour

won’t be appearing on the Live Tour 2025 due to scheduling issues.

The reality star, 36, who has avoided being in the dance-off this series, was forced to decline appearing on the tour because of prior work commitments.

Pete is said to be “gutted” at not joining professional partner Jowita Prystal and his co-stars on stage, but made it clear from the get-go that he would not feature in the upcoming tour.

“Pete is gutted that he’s unable to commit to the Come Dancing Live Tour,” a source told . “He already has filming and work commitments in the spring, which makes dedicating his time to the performing schedule impossible.

They continued: “Pete made it clear from the beginning he wouldn’t be available for the shows in 2025 but now he feels regretful over not having a clear diary.”

The source added: “His popularity among Strictly viewers is clear and he would have received such a positive reaction from audiences at the shows. He will certainly be there in spirit.”

The UK tour kicks off in Birmingham on January 17 and concludes at London’s O2 Arena on February 9. Glitterball contenders , and will appear on the tour alongside Gladiators star and actor .

They will be joined by opera singer and former star . The tour will be hosted by former professional dancer Janette Manrara and will feature the four judges; , , and .

Unfortunately for fans, Pete is not the only contestant who will be absent as in the tour either.

The Liverpool-born star confirmed he won’t be appearing alongside his partner , 35, as his personal comedy tour schedule clashes with the Strictly tour.

As he previously postponed dates to participate in this series of Strictly, Chris is now devoted to honouring commitments to those who’ve secured tickets to his stand-up shows in January and February.

A representative for the comedian told : “Chris has already shifted the dates of his tour to do Strictly and that wasn’t an easy thing to do. There were a lot of disappointed people and it was stressful – we got a lot of messages. So he couldn’t move them again, absolutely not.

“Everyone has been very straight about this all the way along the line. It’s a great shame, because he’d love to do the tour, but Chris is not available.
